    I have Edge now so no need to block it anyway for me. I just wanted to let people know that the New Edge is not getting blocked without a custom rule, which i have no need to test out.

    It blocked the original Edge, it just doesn't block the new chromium version of Edge.

    doing the same trick for chrome is not a good idea though, on windows, you get a massive block spam, unless further rules are set, otherwise this will spam very fast in OSA:

    Command Line: "C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe" --type=utility --field-trial-handle=1584,12703619444344605063,2532039194428022121,131072 --lang=en-US --service-sandbox-type=network --enable-audio-service-sandbox --mojo-platform-channel-handle=4224 /prefetch:8
    ommand Line: "C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe" --type=gpu-process --field-trial-handle=1584,12703619444344605063,2532039194428022121,131072 --start-stack-profiler --gpu-preferences=MAAAAAAAAADgAAAwAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABgAAAAAAAQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKAAAAAQAAAAgAAAAAAAAACgAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAA4AAAAAAAAABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUAAAAQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGAAAAEAAAAAAAAAABAAAABQAAABAAAAAAAAAAAQAAAAYAAAA= --mojo-platform-channel-handle=4032 /prefetch:2

    Ever-changing parts of the command-line need to be replaced with wildcards then the problem will slowly go away.

    Whats the state on this company. More then 6 months ago the developer where here and said they where working on an update to OSArmor, almost done he said. It would be released a.s.a. p according to him. Nothing has happened since then.

    If one looks at the homesite most programs has not been updated for over a year.

    Anyone been in contact with him lately?

    He resides in Italy. Covid-19 hit Italy big time. I am inordinately fond of Italy & Italians so I, too, hope he is okay -- more than okay, actually.

    Hope so too @bellgamin.

    I suspect he is doing paying contract work. I think the NVT utilities are more a test bed for his considerable talents when not so engaged.

    Hello guys, hope all of you are fine during this particular situation.

    Just wanted to let you know about some updates:

    We've been working the past 8+ months on cloud-based services, such as APIVoid - a service that offers JSON APIs for threat analysis and detection, more information here:
    https://www.apivoid.com/

    We're now back on track but to keep up with software development (time, code sign, certificates, servers, testings, fixes, updates, etc) we'll change a few things, one of which is that OSArmor and other software will become subscription-based.

    The new version of OSArmor will be available soon for subscribed users, here is a preview of the new version changes:

    changelog.png

    And here are some screenshots of the new features:

    osarmor-new.png

    We've mostly finished working in the auto-update of OSArmor so it will safely update to new versions automatically without user intervention. Plus we've added options to update CustomBlock.db and Exclusions.db rules from a remote URL, that should be useful to companies.

    I'll have some updates on this soon (no parallel projects now so we're working on these changes full time).

    We have other good news, but lets first complete this "phase 1".

    Will keep you updated here regularly.

    Great you're back Andreas! :thumb:

    Looking forward to updates.

    No problem with a subscription to keep bread on the table, hope you stay 'friendly' to us home users though ... I know you will.

    Now that OSA will be subscription-based (whatever that exactly means), it is to be hoped that this brilliant app will be updated more frequently and on a regular basis.
    What about SysHardener? Will there also be a new version soon?

    The obvious assumption is that subscription based means "annual fee".

    @pb1

    Yearly subscription.

    @Buddel

    Mostly all our programs will get updated soon, SysHardener included.

    @B-boy/StyLe/

    Correct.

    Thanks, Andreas. Looking forward to using the new versions of OSA and SH. I really don't mind paying for them as long as they are kept up to date, so add me to your list of customers.:)
