Cleanmgr+ (Improved Replacement for Microsoft Disk Cleanup)

@Belim7 I have used Cleanmgr+ (though not 'in anger') but seeing it is supposedly an enhancement of native (to be deprecated) Windows Cleanup facility - please advise ...

I have previously imaged before cleaning as a precaution, but
Is it completely safe to use at defaults i.e. are these using standard Windows functions? And the default 'more' entries?
Are there any settings which require some precaution, something to be aware of?

I am otherwise inclined to use this as my primary (only) cleaner.

I've just noticed this thread and installed this promising application on my system which is Win10 version 2004, it seems to work fine. Many thanks to the developer.

 

Let us know your experiences / verdict, after some use?

Because it's essentially an improved / extended version of Windows Disk Cleanup (I don't much like 'dumbed down' Win 10 Storage Sense) I would use it on a regular basis if it is not too aggressive / cause problems, or which options to avoid.

I have used it a few times without issue Imaging first), but it would appreciate some expert analysis to check that all is well 'under the covers'. I trust the developer, but just being cautious.
