Which procedure do you use to block updates premanently?

so you turn it on only twice a year? :isay:

Win10 Pro has the option to delay updates for some days. the home need questionable tweaks.

concerning security - too many people write BS. win10 is the moste secure windows ever because the windows defender features are the strongest of all windows and windows 10 has more improved self-protection than older windows. there is more under the hood to set up as dialogues show up. people often run into anger because they think its like windows 7 or older and get dissapinted because windows 10 denied their action. this do not mean that it is not possible, not this way round.

WPD is another tool like O&O Shutup, w10privacy and more.

who wants a windows 10 like LTSC from pro should try ntLite

For now I just disabled Windows Update service and so far it was not reenabled by Windows. If it stays that way I probably won't need any to tool to control it.

I've maintained a W10 install that didn't update in one year. All I did was to change the registry values for all connections to metered.

    Thnx for suggestion.
I update regularly so I don't plan to stay behind updates for so long. I just don't want WU to run constantly.
