    No excuse! absolutely none, and it goes to show you how insecure an iPhone can be, contrary to what their CEO says. Security has fallen hard in the last few years at Apple, and one has to wonder who they are appeasing? They tout security, but they always have a vicious exploit.

    Even by the CEO's own admission. They don't use the word 'security' anymore as a selling point. They say privacy. This is not even true. Apple should be ashamed of themselves for what they have done with their devices.

    Yes, it's a joke, same goes for Android. They really should start to develop more serious anti-exploit mitigations in both Android and iOS.

    It is of course bad for devices that came before the iPhone 6s, but models before the 6s have been vulnerable all along. Yes, a few vulnerabilities such as the iMessage one have been backported to iOS 12, but most have not and those devices have lots of vulnerabilites and should not be used anyway.
