I had a strange ESET NOD32 threat alert when updating Chrome. Happened on two different 7x64 computers. The found threat was URL/Urlik.AAO Object , which there is very little info available on. I did not ignore the detection, but opted to disconnect from the update session. After a couple of quick scans, I went back to try updating again and saw that 80.0.3987.132 had installed. Not sure what to make of it. I do have pre-release updates selected and maybe that has something to do with it. Just putting it out there, fwiw.
See here, it was a FP. https://forum.eset.com/topic/22789-may-i-ask-why-i-got-a-warning-of-urlurlikaao-object/
There's another thread indicating that a bunch of users were impacted, though the FP seemed to be fixed quickly. ESET IS Blocking Chrome Installer and Google Chrome
