I updated Windows 8.1 and Office 2013 and didn't encounter any problems so far.

After reboot, MS updates checked once again and KB4524244 found & installed.

Because the update is so good, it installs twice!

:argh: It happens to me about 3/4 of the time with cumulative updates on W10 Home.

Hi stapp, I don't think the update is installing twice, what I think happens is that the first time we see the CU get to 100% installation, that is the installation of the Servicing stack. And the second time we see the installing of the CU, that is the actual installation of the CU.

That link opens just fine for me also.

After today's updates, my W10 1909 is on build 18363.657.

After installing today's CU, and rebooting, I manually checked for updates and was offered KB4524244, I installed it. What I don't understand is why it was offered to me, as the title of the link above doesn't show 1909 in it. Adding to my confusion, the update is available for 1909 in the catalogue. My question is, are other W10 1909 users here at this forum also getting this update (kb4524244)?

Willis, the confusion is generated by the fact that the KB installs in 1909 and the download package is available for 1909 in the catalogue, but the name/number 1909 doesn't appear in the title of the KB.

WOW, a (semi) nice reply from you for a change. Thanks for confirming what I thought was happening with KB4524244.

That is exactly the reason for my earlier comment about KB4524244.

Thats your confusion, not mine. Dont change what I wrote, please. FWIW, the link to that KB opens the correct webpage for me.
