Recently upgraded on Win 10 and noticed the new feature of the ability to store more than the last copy action and also to save to an online clipboard. I can see the beauty of having more than the last copy action saved and using this to paste frequently used snippets when required.
However, when I looked at this closer I started wondering how this relates to security. I am using Keepass for most sites and copy/paste my passwords from there. It seems to me these would then all be visible to someone having access to my pc and running Win + V (if enabled). It does not take a genius to guess that an email address next to some 16 digit combo is the login for some site. While it may not tell you which site it is, looking at browser history or so, you can probably narrow this done considerably.

Is anyone using this feature and is there any way to do so safely?

In case there is anything of interest here. I don't have the clipboard option enabled so I cannot give first hand experience.

Stapp, yes, I saw that but that still leaves the issue open with someone accessing this info from your pc. I realise if it comes to that, most bets are off anyway but in some ways that still appears to me not much different from keeping a note with your log ins and passwords underneath your mouse pad.

ludwig, i understand your concern but if someone has access to your pc, they can get more than your pw's. online cb should be disabled anyway.
