    This has always been true of any job. We used to have TV repairmen. Dialing 0 used to get you a live operator. Nobody has knocked on my door to sell me a set of encyclopedias in decades. Any job is subject to disappearing at any time as life changes. These folks aren't special any more than anyone else ever has been.
