I updated to 3.0.81 and noticed two odd things the other night while cleaning my internet history. First thing is it took ~30min to clean 846MB of data (single overwrite) and when done there were still over 330 cookies left behind in Firefox.

Anyone else see anything like this?

    Hello,

maybe they are "to be preserved".
click on "See cookies" and select the ones of Firefox as shown here (select "Manual" in "Cookies selection").
You will see those "to delete" and others "to keep".

    Does it help?

@liba: It's a growing concern of this program: Privazer is good at cleaning, but weak at communicating. If they don't clean up their act, it will haunt them in the future.

Sorry, but it needs some more time to test/investigate

To be fair, they are responsive. Any other cleaner programs responding here on a regular basis?

    OK, there's Mirinsoft's Cleanmgr+ ... !

I presume this has to do with the cache of tray icons that is cleaned by PrivaZer.
Maybe you can try not to delete the cache displayed here :

    Question -
At the "select scans" interface, is there a way to tick only certain boxes, and save the configuration in that way? Or would one need to select the scanning items each time they run the program? thanks

    The_PrivaZer_Team Developer

    Hello @chrome_sturmen,
Your settings are saved automatically in a PrivaZer.ini file.
No need to tick/untick each time you scan.

Hello. Is anyone finding PrivaZer is exiting way too quickly after cleaning, say, the Recycle Bin? I drag and drop garbage there, it adds up to a bit but out of curiosity, I'd like to see how much got cleaned out but no, way too fast. PrivaZer v. 3.0.82. Windows v..2004 build 19033.1.

    Hello @plat1098,

make sure those checkboxes are not checked.
    Does it help?

Ok. I had some hope V3.0.83 would have fixed your issue. I will keep on working on it then. Could you send us a new bug report?
