fwiw, to enable dark mode on all pages incl. about pages:
set "browser.in-content.dark-mode" to true.

 

Microsoft is blowing it again. IE is dead, even they don't want you to use it. The current Edge is being abandoned so nobody wants to use that. The new Edge is taking too long which was the problem with the first Edge. I'll keep Firefox for as long as I can get away with it.

 

I always thought IE was installed on Windows to facilitate the installing of Firefox.

 

it was until 2013. it's been chrome instead of ff from then on (for the average joe/jane).

 

Apparently the new Edge won't be released to the stable channel until sometime in 2020

Petty much what I expected when I saw that it would not be part of 19H2. I've lost interest and uninstalled the Dev copy I had.

 

I dunno, Chrome installs itself sometimes lol.

Most of the times I ended up with Chrome it was not by a browser download. It was the little obscure checkbox from another software install.

 

I have relatives who have done the same. They seem pretty sanguine about it. I think they thought it was normal that Chrome suddenly appeared like magic. Mind you, anything is an improvement on IE lol.
