iOS is actively under development and in fact is next to be updated.

If you are on Windows 7 and get a BSOD please send us your memory.dmp or crash.dmp file in the Windows directory so we can verify that its the same issue we are seeing on Windows 10. You can send it directly to support@blackfog.com and our engineers will review it before we release the 4.0.1 build.

I had to uninstall it because of constant BSOD crashes.

Just had a situation where left- or right-click on taskbar icon did nothing ... v 4.0.1 (b275).

Restarting BFP just created another process.

Killed the original process in task manager, restarted and all is back to normal.

Probably just my setup on this test machine, but I have not experienced that before.

Edit: Looking at Glasswire alerts, it may just have been updating from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1 at that very moment!

We have one minor change coming for those in Secure boot environments to get rid of that last issue.

    Did get a BSOD (below) on reboot with v4.0.1 b275. Win 10 x64 Pro v1903 18362.356.

Can't be sure it's BFP (as I was updating to HitmanPro.Alert v3.8.0 build 849 CTP2 at the time :)), but hopefully due to Secure Boot issue (which I have, turned on).

    WhoCrashed report:
    Code:
On Fri 2019/09/27 6:08:41 AM GMT your computer crashed or a problem was reported
    crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\092719-6171-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x1C10A0)
    Bugcheck code: 0x3B (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF8066E24826C, 0xFFFFF30A524C2960, 0x0)
    Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

We have fixed this in 4.0.2. Looks like MS changed the way memory access is granted in Secure Boot mode and later versions of Windows. This will be posted in the next few hours.

It does not look like the Geographic region is actually blocked, but rather i just get alerted about a threat detection that happened for that region.

Still getting g the BSODS.....(3 Today) with B280, when i uninstall BF everything back to normal. could this be an BF/HitmanProAlert incompability? Anyone else running BF/HitmanProAlert/WD combo and see the same?

Edit: Should have included that i just restored thiis PC and not a hint of issues until i opdated to B280. Apologies :).

I have HmP.A 3.8.0 build 849 CTP2 (with EAM, not WD) but have not rebooted since BFP update to v4.0.2 (build 280).

No BSODs but I have not rebooted, which is when I previously got these (twice, presumably Secure Boot issue). Will reboot shortly, and update this post.

    Edit: Rebooted, no BSOD :).
