    @Buddel

    "none" is not an option. because the question is "which encrypted/secure messaging app(s) do you use?", not "do you use any encrypted/secure messaging app(s)?". :rolleyes:

    This thread reminded me of an encrypted platform called Demonsaw I used to use years ago, using it again now. The UI is way more polished.

    You're absolutely right but the option "None" would make this poll more interesting.:cool:

    yeah, astounding that you're not the only one who finds it interesting to cast their vote in a poll about things that they don't use. :isay:

    I use WhatsApp, Signal and Facebook Messenger every day. Signal for my paranoid friend, WhatsApp for my girlfriend and Messenger for everyone else.

    looks like your friends are not that paranoid. because i can't persuade my paranoid friends to use signal. they say it requires your phone number to activate so it's out of the question for them. :ninja:

    Thnx, didn't know about it. Seems interesting. Though I have barely any friends that's using Signal so I doubt I could persuade many to use this :)

    no problem. :thumb: actually, i gave it a try before, it's not bad at all. a very good client to use if you set up your own xmpp server.

    As this poll is now over a year old I had forgotten all about it. Had to amend my vote from Signal to Signal + other [Session]. Session was just a pup then and would not have been known about by many. First blog at their website was in Dec 2019, before official launch in Feb of this year.

    I don't use it. D/L'd it for use on the wireless handsets but honestly isn't needed on this end. Makes for novelty use just having it there.
