So to make it short: everybody's contractors are listening every companies' audio data collected from their users...
Are they serious? They really believed an Ai would do all by itself. Ai is dependent of humans, it is expected than humans will listen the audio. The masses are unbearably naive...they let them do they go to the roof and whine when they learn what they believed was wrong.
Signs of the all seeing eye on the back of the dollar bill. They see all and hear all! Smells like someone is playing God. These stories are intentionally being leaked to the public so that the public know someone is watching. Its well documented that people act better when they know they are being watched.
Exactly, it is why global mass surveillance is required, too much freedom and rights has rotten this world, controlled freedom is what is needed. The masses just need to be free to work, eat, be good consumers spending money on nicely made products or on holidays, and know when to not cross the lines.
Absolute freedom is not sustainable in the long term. Just see how Earth's environments/ecosystems are suffering.
+1. Criminality and violence rose since their perpetrators realized that they risk almost nothing if made "properly". itwt
+1 again, lol. Information Technologies are fertile soil for every person in this world but a true paradise for criminals, bad actors and evil nations as well. itwt
cant deny it. who are the first one to abuse and corrupt new techs? criminals. create the new uber-privacy stuff, threat actors will be first to use it and hack you to death LOL. itwt
I prefer to sacrifice some amount of privacy so cyber-police can monitor cartels activities, you know this a terrible situation in my country. itwt
yes i know well...the thing is many people who fight those ''anti''-privacy tools/methods/laws are those living in nice neighborhood where nothing happens, guess they will change their mind where local gangs will start invade their garden and force them to surrender their IphoneXS at gunpoint or sexually harass their daughter... itwt
And that minority, at the end, will become into nothing. I wonder whether resistance is worthy or futile.
Microsoft's latest privacy policy says vendors listen to voice data August 14, 2019 https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ys-vendors-listen-to-voice-data-idUSKCN1V426V
I hope I'm wrong about the latter. But I believe resistance is worthy but futile. Come on Luddites update the mailing list & send off automated fund raising letters.
I guess that they were doing it before without mentioning it in their privacy policy. I wonder how GDPR watchdog will react on this?
I was surprised to hear that. First Microsoft claims that Skype conversation are encrypted end to end then why this is happening? This is a serious matter. I wonder if Microsoft can be sued for this ?
Because they make the encryption so they can decrypt it. And the encryption is to prevent 3rd parties to MITMed your conversation, not MS. Why serious? That is the same as bank or tax office employees accessing your accounts.
According to latest development Microsoft have changed their privacy policy which now includes the clause that states that human can listen to conversation. The portion of privacy policy that includes the human listening element: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-US/privacystatement Previously, Microsoft had marketed that Skype is end to end encrypted then how come they (human and automated process) is able to listen and identity our communication. Man I don't feel comfortable about this. I mean, this is something that should be emailed and informed to customer. Moreover, how the archive and previous conversation are handled. Anyway, I am deleting skype account I think this is the end of Skype I am worried about the previous conversation in two ways: First, how they will handle previous conversations Second, how to backup all the data from skype safely
According to techcrunch they have altered t ok maybe I am not correct here, but WhatsApp states that end to end encryption makes 3rd parties and whatsapp unable to decrypt our convos. So, I thought same is implemented by skype.
