Yes, full system backups are always a good idea.
More is needed then that though.
    But to each their own.

I agree, but "more" does not necessarily include AppGuard. And yes, to each their own.:isay:

No, more does not necessarily mean AppGuard, Use whatever makes you happy.
But is this thread not about AppGuard?

Anyone bashing AG for its price can go and get NVT soft for free, even VS is free! ffs!

NVT is pretty good, yes. VS? No, I don't like it. I'd rather spend 90 bucks on AG than use VS free.

Back on topic, is there a changelog for v6 anywhere? For example between 6.1 and 6.2 and other minor version updates.

nope. The latest build will be for a while, don't expect much updates.

A pity they don't give more information. Well, thanks anyway.

Were can I find compatibility information regarding to new Windows 10 upgrades? Afaik v6.2.9.1113 is older than the 1903 upgrade, is AG compatible with 1903 and 1909?

    AppGuard Solo v6.2.9.113 Win 10 Pro 1909 (OS Build 18363.535). Previous, 1903.

    Even AG v4 works too.

No problems. However, v6 I have to put in Power Applications WD and MBam because of the Memory Guard (lsass.exe).

I did read about one problem with Appguard and Windows Defender on Windows 10 here (post 21 especially useful):
    https://malwaretips.com/threads/controlled-folders-windows-10-with-appguard-running-bug.83045/page-2

If I recall, in Appguard v4, exceptions to user space can only have wildcards at the end of the exception path, not in the middle (using a wildcard for the platform version number) like the post 21 example pic. You could still create exceptions to those 3 files without a wildcard, however, and it would work.

I am confused. I have paid license.

My AppGuard SOLO v6 is still v6.1.1.0730 and Customize>Advanced>Check for Updates shows 'Your version of AppGuard is up to date'?
'Periodically Check for AppGuard Updates' is ticked. ('Automatically Install Updates' unticked).

Edit: Just did another manual download and install, and it is now v6.2.9.1113.
Will ask Support why it did not notify update was available (since at least August 2019!) ...

Thanks @Quassar, was able to activate my license using the above setup! Installed and working fine on Windows 1909. Giving this a go after almost 3 years now!

    Hi guys,

Question on Appguard. Trying to get it setup again after not using it for a few years. I am having a problem with launching MS Teams with Appguard Solo in lockdown mode. How to I allow this app to run? I recall something about user space etc. Any advice here?

    Thanks.
