Hey all, I am trying to delete EEK from my computer but I cannot due to epp.sys in the bin64 folder being in use. I have used multiple file unlock tools and even after multiple reboots it will still not delete. has anyone else experienced this and have a solution? i have deleted everything in the other folders relating to eek it is just the one file that remains. I am running windows 10 pro 64bit Thanks
I am having the same problem, cannot delete the EEK folder, I have searched for the service as suggested but see nothing that I can identify with the Emergency Kit. I would appreciate further suggestions or recommendations and would thank you in advance. As always I appreciate all replies. John Cummins
Have a look here in case it helps to delete the driver. You will have to scroll down for instructions depending on which operating system you use https://help.emsisoft.com/en/1752/w...or-message-about-a-computer-resource-problem/
Thank you Stapp, followed the instructions and was successful in deleting the folder. I like the Emergency Kit and intend on reinstalling a new version in a few days. Again thanks!
10Q stapp! I use EEK & do not plan to dump it but -- if I change my mind -- I have saved this link in my HowTo archives.
