    The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, AP) imposed a fine of 460.000 Euro on a Dutch Hospital because medical records were not properly secured (and workers were looking at specific medical records of someone (ough ...)). If things in that Hospital will not improve in some months, more fines can be imposed.

    Sad to see that all that money cannot be used for healthcare, but so very, very good that finally everyone in healthcare may learn a lesson from this. If they indeed learn this lesson ...
