Cool, I didn't even know that Zemana is now using AI. I wonder if people can test it against malware when connection to the cloud is disabled. BTW, about Zemana AntiLogger, how exactly does the Secure SSL feature work? And is the Anti-Ransomware feature making use of behavioral monitoring?

I've just noticed that in version 3.1.320 Premium there isn't a context menu option to scan single files or folders. Will it be added in future releases?

    Thank you

Anyone running ZAM premium along with MBAM premium?

    Thanks!

I have the licensed, premium version for which I paid. I have 1043 days remaining on my license as of July 1, 2019. The update panel on my copy does NOT update to the new version. Instead, it says that 2.74.2.664 is the latest version.

When I tried to download the updated Premium version from Zemana's site, it wants me to pay again.

This is VERY annoying. Zemana may have upgraded ZAM but their update process for paid customers is still buggy. :cautious:

Hello, Zemana AntiLogger uses Behaviour blocking to defeat ransomware, about Secure SSL it encrypts everything from the browser until the network driver.

Just to clarify, are ZAL and ZAM checking for rapid file modification, or do they simply use signatures (with behavior blocking) to block ransomware? There is a difference between blocking ransomware from running at all, and blocking it post-execution like for example HitmanPro.Alert does.

Also, I believe in older versions, Secure SLL meant that ZAL would block banking trojans from modifying browser memory. This means that even if a banking trojan is already installed, it would still not be able to catch any encrypted data. Is this still the same? A bit more technical info would be nice.

This thread is for Zemana Antimalware (ZAM), NOT Zemana Antilogger. It gets convoluted when a thread goes off-topic.

Back On Topic -- does ZAM apply behavior blocking or is it solely signature-based?

I copy paste my thoughts for a neighbouring site.
The version 2 uses definition updates + static file analyze, that if found something suspicious it scan them in the cloud.

The real-time of 3 is only a local static file analyzer without cloud. The cloud and upload functions only works in scan mode.

If i am wrong here feel free to correct me.
