Microsoft ends Visual C++ Redistributable Chaos June 23, 2019 https://www.ghacks.net/2019/06/23/microsoft-ends-visual-c-redistributable-chaos/
Yeah you only need 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2019 versions, 32 and 64 bit, only 12 installations Tbh these things should come with windows, since they'll be installed anyway by the respective programs
Also, there's ScKu - Software commonly used runtime library. It's a portable tool that lets you install the latest versions of various runtime libraries and DirectX. Code: http://api.pc9.com/down/lmsrc/scku/Scku.exe The website is in Chinese, but as you can see from the screenshots, the software is in English.
When I clean install 1903 I'll test it Cuz I do kinda remember that when I tried to install directx 9 it already told me newer version or equivalent is present, BUT I can't say I'm 100% sure
It would be nice if they would just clean up this mess altogether with a single installer from Windows Update and update it as needed. I currently have 19 entries in my Apps & features list for this junk.
