I'd had it with the last version of MS Flight simulator, when I was trying to fly a 737 and was having trouble. After 4 attempts it aborted the game, and told me to try again when I could focus better. That was it!.:argh:

ROFL. Naw, I don't hold that against the plane. I've just learned in my business, that it's all about trust. That's what Boeing blew.

I have never understood the fun of this game, I mean I suppose you can never really simulate the feeling of flying for real. But the graphics of the new version do look good though.

It's probably fun for those that would like to fly but can't. Kinda like teens that play racing games because they aren't old enough to drive. It's not the real thing, but it's as close as you're gonna get.

Yes I guess so, but to me it wasn't thrilling at all, not comparable to racing games.

"Microsoft Flight Simulator Is Adding VR Support This Year

HP's forthcoming Reverb G2 headset will be supported first, followed by 'some of the others.'...

VR support will be offered as a free update for the game. It's also likely to be extremely popular and could sell a few extra headsets for HP because of how good Flight Simulator looks. VR promises an even higher level of immersion for all amateur pilots out there, as well as a few professionals who want to get in some practice from the safety of their home during the pandemic..."

Does anyone know what the hardware requirements are? Minimum and Recommended? I imagine it takes a hefty video card to run this new MFS at a high resolution with all the visuals turned on. I can see my PC limping along lol...

"Gamers Use Microsoft Flight Simulator to Fly Into Hurricane Laura..

As Hurricane Laura neared the US Gulf Coast, Microsoft Flight Simulator players flew directly into the eye of the storm and beyond, thanks to changes in the newest version of the game.

Flight Simulator now allows for real-world, cloud-based mapping data that changes in real time, created from over 2 petabytes of Bing Maps data. The result? Players turned into virtual storm chasers this week as they interacted with Hurricane Laura. As The Verge reports, some players "flew" so far up that their planes froze over and had to be de-iced..."
