Aren't we supposed to be pushed 1903 some time this month?

I wouldn't be surprised to see it released on the 31st. It seems to have become common for them to release some things on a Friday. Then again they might surprise us and release it today.

After I "successfully"(o_O) installed Windows update #4023057 last Friday (5/17/19), my Windows 10 PRO computer started having issues - flickering desktop/taskbar icons. It happens when I open a new Windows Explorer window or try to open Word, Excel, or MS Access, etc...
I think that "smart" update is having issues with identifying default apps/software.
That icon flickering stops after some time.
Let's say if I open a folder that has mp3 files, the computer starts going nuts with flickering while trying to decided which default app it should use.
Win10 pushes its Groove, instead of Windows Media player - a simple one that I like.

It happens on other Windows 10 PRO computers at work, but it does not affect Windows 10 HOME edition computers.

MS loves to complicate it. Anyway, ISOs are already available at https://tb.rg-adguard.net - download links are from Microsoft. I bet Heidoc will eventually catch up as well.
    Code:

I just downloaded the Media Creation Tool and created the ISO here for 1903. Quick and easy. About to do a clean install now... :)

I'm curious as to what is motivating the update to 1903 - are there special features or something else compelling? I'm thinking about updating to 1903 too, but also not looking for problems.

not a motivation for me but for the most, the built-in edge chromium maybe?

Just upgraded to 1903 on this machine using the Win 10 Upgrade Assistant to see if it worked out ok... it did :thumb:

Everything runs okay so far (even Sandboxie!!)

Will do another machine as a clean install tomorrow,

Just go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO There are ISO files to download.
If you don't see ISO file - change user agent of browser to Linux or macOS.

That is the same link as I posted above, and the one I ran the Update Assistant from.
By the way, the update kept all my privacy settings and Fast Start up was still disabled afterwards.

Cool! I may just try the upgrade on one machine after all.
