Still do not know how to password protect usb

    For so many mounths and many searches I could not find a good , reliable way to password protect usb

    Perhaps you could indicate which methods of password-protecting a USB you have tried thus far, and also why they did not work for you?

    What do you mean by "password protect"?

    Encrypt? For Windows, VeraCrypt. For Linux, I prefer LUKS.

    On the "can't trust" scale, I'd say that Windows is #1 :)

    You use Windows but you doubt VeraCrypt? Seems legit. I guess you could use BitLocker then.

    Windows is from Microsoft and I do not have any choice . Mine is home edition does not have bitlocker

    TrueCrypt was open source but there was something very fishy in that software and for some strange reason it ended

    Which is why the audit of VeraCrypt came out clean.

    I am not sure but I have a feeling that there is cia or others behind this software :)

    So you don't care if you're secure, as long as you feel secure?
