I signed up at MWT a while back, but never posted anything at that time. Several days later I tried to post & was informed I was banned. Get this -- I was banned when I had never even posted there!!! What gives with those guys?

Out of curiosity, I sent them a query as to why. Several days later, they replied with a simple statement that I was no longer banned. No explanation.

    Goooood grief!!!

Hmmm, seems all resources are poored into a cloud console for a long time now which many users with for example just one license have little use for or am i missing something here?

What about changes/improvements to the main goal (IMO), the protection? I am personally much more interested in that :)

I believe they are still doing that. For example, they recently develop a security extension.

Yes, tried that when it came out, but it's basically the only new thing in a long time (IMO).

Maybe it's just me, but take a look at the last 6-7 months change logs and it's mostly bugfixes, new settings layout and now what seems to be mostly for enterprises or users with multiple computers to maintain and not really what should be the main focus IMO = protection. Don't get me wrong here, i use and will continue Emsisoft because it runs unobtrusively in my setup, just personally want focus on protection.

    Just my 2 cents

You dont need tons of modules/components to be secured, as an AV, EAM offer a real-time scanner with cloud Lookup (for old malware) and a Behavior Blocker (for 0-days or recent malware) and a web filter + extension for suspicious sites, which is already enough for most of you (you are not software testers, malware researchers, pentesters, etc...).

Win10 already offers the only thing that will complement EAM : an anti-exploit with Exploit Guard.

Mine just updated as well. I think the firewall and network lockdown switches are cool new features. I was a bit confused when I first looked at the screen, however. The on and off switches are pretty far to the right and near the last update and "your license ends in" notes. It ends up looking a bit unbalanced to me. This really isn't a problem but maybe something they could look at in the future.
