Yep. My dog hasn't got one and won't be getting one. I hope I'm gone before then.

Most of the people here realise that there is nothing wrong with passwords. If we are not restricted to 8 digits using lower case letters and numerals only then there is [IMHO] nothing more secure. My daughter recently started a new corporate position and needed a secure password using the 4 options. It took me 5 minutes to show her how to use a 15 digit password. As all of you are aware this is not rocket science, it's just that most punters today are always looking for the easy and quick way.

I agree, I don't get this obsession with trying to kill the password. I just noticed that you can now login to Yahoo Mail via the smartphone without having to type any password. But how exactly is this more secure? I thought we were supposed to make the switch to 2FA, this means you need to have something you know and something you own. So it should always be a combination of password and registered devices, like desktop, laptop and smartphone for example.

Is this just a link or have you actually tried it? If so, what are your thoughts and impressions?

You're right on the money. It's not if but when and as they started with animals a while ago, of course it's onto humans. Right now, some knuckleheads are paving the way voluntarily not realizing (maybe) they're hastening one of the worst nightmares humans will ever see.

It's a link where you can download SQRL.exe file and try it out.
There is also a forum you can go to for more info & help.
Couple of videos to watch as well.

    I have not tried it.
