    This vulnerability seems to affect Chromium (not only Chrome), so those browsers are at risk, thats why Chrome with its fast and automatic updates is the most secure browser.

    It's quite good, at Malwaretips its was tested and the recommended combination was Emsisoft Browser Security together with Windows Defender Browser Protection:

    OK thanks, strange that they didn't make this clear. So this means that all Chromium based browsers, like Vivaldi, Opera and Brave, are affected.

    Anyone notice a font change in the recent update of Chrome? Running 73.0.3683.86 and suddenly the font in my titles bookmarks and tab font changed from black to white?

    It might not have been because of chrome. It started with a message about my AMD ATI Driver stopped and then restarted again. I restarted many times after that and my mouse pointer would vanish just before the BSOD crash happened. It seems to be all better today. It started happening about the time of the chrome update and installing 2 new chrome extensions.

    You could try re-installing Chrome. I do that after every Windows update, because the Chrome shortcut icons change to generic white for some mysterious reason. Updating over top is what I do, and nothing is lost. Chrome always seem to perform better afterwards.

    I get frame drops on any video and freezes at times but its doesn't seem to be fixable on the user side.You Tube is almost unwatchable.

    It was bound to crash again after you posted that it was all better today... that's usually what happens to me too! :confused: I've had the same issue from time to time with the mouse pointer locking up or disappearing and then a BSOD, but it's been due to other issues related to security software installations and not directly browser related. Sorry that I can't be of more help to pinpoint your specific issue.

    Every browser except Firefox is acting weird with freezes,video stutters,and the non responding mouse.Firefox shows no frame drops but chrome is through the roof especially on You Tube.My system had zero issues on 1803.I use Defender so its not security related.

    I went to device manager and updated my display adapter driver yesterday, and have not had any more mouse pointer or crashing problems.

    Does anyone know what this ChromePasswords folder from Chrome Portable is all about?

    Untitled.png

    Is it related to this from GoogleChromePortable.ini?

    PortablePasswords=false
    ; Stores your saved passwords using a master password you select on startup,
    ; working around Chrome's normal mechanism of tying saved passwords to a local
    ; user account. This setting causes a prompt for the master password on
    ; every startup so it's opt-in.

    Guys, how quickly do these pages load on your systems? They load with a huge 5 seconds delay for me in all Chromium based browsers, like Edge, Chrome and Vivaldi. In Firefox they load instantly, so I wonder if this is a problem with the Blink engine.
