Haven't used Privacy Badger in yEaRs. So effective & easy to allow partial permissions to sites I need that full block breaks. I'm sure you all knew this but I didn't. Using with UBO & HTTPS Everywhere. Good going EFF.
Afaik that would break a lot of sites & I'd have to mess about to "fix" that one site. With Privacy Badger it's much easier for me.
one more add-on, one more attack vector. you can block 3rd party cookies and allow session cookies from visited sites.
I will perhaps give it a try since I stopped using Ghostery. But I was turned off when I read that PB didn't work with a blacklist, but they have changed it.
I use it on Vivaldi Browser in conjunction with the likes of UBlockOrigin-ScriptSafe-Possum. Rock Solid push back on the garbage
I ran privacy badger for about a month in firefox and i noticed that firefox on its own was blocking the same items so i removed it.I understand that PB blocks trackers by behaviourial patterns but i saw no real long term benefit.
Yeah it's a mix match experiment but main thing is to work them in one to a time, in combo etc. and just pull the one's that serve only duplication redundancy and keep those that together compliment one another to a tee. This is the best times of any before where add-ons have really impoved by leaps and bounds that variety is there for choosing the best preferred set up that is best for your particular satisfaction.
Has anyone else had trouble with this extension updating? I'm seeing it fail to update on multiple PCs and browsers.

With the plugin on, hitmanpro picks up nothing from 3d party cookies with its deep scan, and blackfog has almost nothing to block tracking related, it stays quiet. This works and is powerful, if you don't like being tracked by bad actors and unknown ppl take this addon, I think I tested every one and this one is best
This was the reason that I didn't want to use, I didn't feel comfortable with the "self learning" system and seems I was right, because it can be abused. I rather work with a standard blocking list, on the other hand it does sound like a clever pro-active system that isn't offered by anyone else but Privacy Badger.
Exactly why in my camp it was decided to opt in continue as before with it's "learning function" and review results as things move ahead.
