They don't get rid of the false positives.
I reported three times.

Thing are getting even worse, because since V 3.0.878 they removed the option to exclude

They have said a few times that false positives are not a priotirity now and will be addressed later in the development. I don't quite agree with that but it's their decision.

According to the what's new link above, ZAM is free now. Does that mean no more Premium ZAM like i have.

 

The premium version will come in time. They just haven't added real-time protection to v3 as of yet.

What's the direct link (on the Zemana website!) for the released v3 App?

I always get the V2 or an old V3 when I try to download from their site...

Zemana released the free V3, but the didn't fix the false positives, I reported several times.
As these are the same as in the beta, I guess they have no influence on the cloud engines they use...

 

I think that the detections with the Suspicious prefix, are from Zemana's their own huristics.

About the StartIsBack file could you please post here the MD5? Please download Hashmyfiles here: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hashmyfiles-x64.zip and drag & drop the file into the Hashmyfiles window, then you can right click on the item and click on "Copy MD5". It seems I get some some setup errors when I try to install it.

As one who rarely bothers with much in the way of anti-malware apps anymore (since third-party coverage is solid on this end), this one is something of interest in filling in another gap if not extra layer for my Windows 8.1 systems. No Win 10 here.

Can you recommend with some confidence the addition of Zemana Anti even on a low memory capacity system and is this version sporting (in spite of Win 10 compatibility fixes/improvements) some worthwhile features that could compliment the likes of other currently popular third party protections (such as NVT-ERP etc.) on 8 systems and perhaps before such as 7 too.

Thanks for your consideration and look forward to your reply on this. For what it's worth I have used Zemana in the recent past in a standalone capacity and found it completely acceptable.
