Your TV Is Now a Computer, but Not in a Good Way

Yeah, Smart TVs just like any other devices like routers, webcams are just mini computers nowadays.
And most them insecure ****.
Especially those with ADB enabled ...

I have never updated firmware for my TV, and never will. That's exactly my point, a TV must be simply a TV, so I don't care for smart TV's. I connect my TV to a DVR, DVD player or perhaps streaming device, and my TV displays the video, that's it.

 

My Samsung Smart TV evidently has a new update, but refuses to download it for reasons unknown. Great to see Samsung taking security seriously.
