Google Chrome keeps deleting certain extensions. I have video downloader and others. When I close the browser and open it back up, the extensions are gone. Any reason why?

I do, but I had it disabled. I thought that was the problem. Enabled sync again, shut down chrome, opened it up and the extensions were gone.

Yes, it's just downloader pro. I'll try to just reinstall chrome.

Just trying to think of any other reasons, do you have CCleaner smart cleaning running?

I figured out the culprit. It was Comodo FW. Once I disabled it completely, my extensions stopped disappearing. That was odd. So I uninstalled and went back to AppGuard.

I like Comodo, but it seems to only work good for awhile, then things start messing up. I'm pretty much done with Comodo.

how come Comodo removes extension? The way I see it, as far as I know Comodo, is that the Comodo-sandboxed chrome doesn't have the extension, and then sync it to the non-sandboxed ones.

Anyway Comodo went down since years, is full of bugs, a serious one even more than 10 years old.

That, I don't know. I reinstalled chrome twice and still the same trouble. Once i disabled all of comodo, the extensions stopped disappearing.
