Hello, just yesterday (1/5) when I updated windows 10 - that particular update really had an adverse affect on my pc. All my settings were trashed. System restore worked thankfully. Anyone else have this? I have disabled future updates due to this. Thanks. D
In the desktop search bar type "Windows Update." Then click on "View update history." Note: if you ran system restore, your borked Win Update info will no longer be shown I believe. Not sure if all Win Update history is retained after a system restore.

If its 1809 its really got some issues.The more digging I do users are all getting the same issues but no word from MS.Maybe we will hear whats going on this week since the holidays have passed.
if update history is gone it only could have been 1809, because 1809 dont has updates thus its empty. you need the system recovery. major updates sometimes reset user settings when they are in a bad shape or can go wild.
