(Hope I put this in right place, if not SORRY)

    Question please.

At the moment I am running hxxp://www.gmailnotifier.se/ as a standalone (portable) program to check my emails from Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail.

But since recently I am getting frequent errors with Yahoo, normal I would contact the author of gmailnotifier but unfortunately the program isn't maintained anymore and hasn't got updates in over 1 year.

So my question is, which (standalone) program do you use to get Notified when there is New email. It needs to work with Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail.

Ps: NOT looking for Browser extensions

    Thx in advance.

I agree with fblais. I am running the pro version and the plus pack of Poppeeper, and I couldn't do without it. Having tried everything else, not that there's much to chose from, I went back to Poppeeper.

This is what I've been using for many years. It has always worked well for me.

    Guys,

I am using PopPeeper at the moment, but I am still having issues with Yahoo.

It will keep saying Yahoo: logging in and then it waits waits waits and then after a minute or so it starts retrieving ... etc etc.
(Error overview in Poppeeper is empty)

So IMHO there is a problem somewhere with Yahoo.
