    You can block those boxes with uBlock Origin. I very rarely see them. And when I do it's just because the site isn't in the filter list yet.

    Yeah you can actually create rules for that specific element, using either right click Block Element or just inspect and make your own rules. And if the script is not coming from the 1st party site, like wilderssecurity.com on this site, then you can block it with dynamic filtering for all sites so that it doesn't appear in the future. I have 1 247 754 network + 140 257 cosmetic filters so this rarely happens

    Also startpage.com anonymous view works, at least sometimes.

    Here's without anonymous view, notice how the ******* won't let me click "dont' accept cookies" and try to force subscribtion:

    And here's with anonymous view, the cookie box still there but at least can read the article now:
