Is SAS still relevant today? I'm debating install on my new machine. My experience with SAS, it's good at finding tracking cookies, that's about it. I remember SAS having a good rep. which declined. Back in 2006, I won a lifetime license for SAS, at a neat forum, can't remember, forum name, but the admin was Donna Buenaventura (rip), the forum shut down, then I believe some Wilders guys, started version 2 of the forum. I use KIS & MBAM resident
Do you mean Superantispyware? I assume it is redundant and potentially problematic because you already use KIS & MBAM
I also have a lifetime license for SAS but I haven't used it for many years. I don't think it's still relevant today. If you use KIS (like I do) you don't even need MBAM. Maybe SysHardener from NoVirusThanks would be a good addition for KIS users. Just my 2 cents.

Yes that's all it's good for these days. It does an excellent job at finding tracking cookies, but does a terrible job of detecting actual malware. It won't cause any isses with your other security software - even if you are using it in realtime, but you may want to give it a miss due to its poor detection rates. On the plus side, while it won't detect much, it doesn't have issues with false positives, so it's highly unlikely that it will wrongly indentify any safe files or registry keys as being harmful. Malwarebytes would be a much better option, due to much better detection rates.

I also have a lifetime license I got many many years ago. Not sure if I would call it irrelevant but I would not buy it today. Because I have the lifetime license, I put it on this machine when I built it for W10. But I have disabled all the real-time options and only run it if I suspect something funny going on - which isn't often with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes already doing their things. It has never found anything malicious and always lists a bunch of stuff that is totally safe - like cookies to sites I visit every day, calling them tracking cookies. I don't like that.

Calendar of Updates rings a bell here. I went there when I gave Voodooshield a try. It never worked for me, so I left both VS and CoU. I will definitely not going back to VS, but maybe I will read a couple of CoU posts every now and then.
