I use this one for years, it used to be unstable, however, in the last 3 years or so it works perfect, not a single issue! Here is my download link so I get some "credit" ;)

Emsisoft is no longer the top tier, state of the art protection product it was a couple of years ago. However, it is still good - and basically targets older users who want peace of mind and don't mind paying a little extra for it. Not really surprised that it missed some ransomware - if BitDefender didn't get it, Emsisoft's chances were slim.

Even the new threats are not in the database , BD and Emsi also had other technology to protect system ,
Bitdefender had ATD and Emsi had the BB system .

So i am curious why Emsisoft's BB technology doesn't work in this case .

BB analyzes the program if it is recognized safe from cloud?

Maybe because it uses GPG to encrypt files (see EMSI Forum) but that IMHO is still not an excuse that BB doesn't trigger when a program starts encrypting lots of files.

Edit: What this shows is, never lay all your Eggs in 1 Basket ;)

I agree. As an example: then we immediately tested Bitdefender free (the paid versions were not tested) and it blocked dangerous behavior with Advanced Threat Control. Not immediately, the encrypter managed to create several files (visually nothing was encrypted, the pictures opened without problems, so we decided that he only managed to create several of his files).
The same file as in the test with Emsisoft.
