It's now a new uninstaller, it has been around for 12 years or so. This is just a new version. I will be interested to try this new feature, but it won't be of much use unless it has a very large database of program installs. Revo has a similar feature and it needs to be used with caution as it can remove files and registry keys which should be left alone. Also it's worth noting that when I tried the first release of v7 of Ashampoo Uninstaller, it had major issues. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/uninstaller-software.373651/page-20#post-2720023 I have not tried any of the updated releases, so don't know how it fares now.
You know what? It is an ad, how smart you are! And it's a 50% OFF ad, that was emailed to me... I thought you might like to have the 50% off yourself..... IF NOT please ignore this ad.... JEEZ....
OF COURSE< NEW VERSION.... Yes me too V7 was not as good as it could have been, but Ashampoo does try to improve their software, so there is always hope... IT'S NOT OUT YET....
Similar to this post also started by me, and NOT an ad... https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...e-best-i-did-a-test-on-4-uninstallers.409545/
This has been released and at the moment isn't very good. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/uninstaller-software.373651/page-22#post-2795222
Yep. Same thought here. Sorry to sound somewhat dissing but their choice of the name Ashampoo always turned me completely off like a bad joke. They probably have decent programs but passed on them way way back when Windows 98 was the current O/S Platform and never bothered with it again.
Marketing, anything goes to pry that wallet open. So many fall for the retarded tactics , is why you see more, and more stupid ads.
It came in my email BECAUSE.....When I bought version 7 at 50% off, they wanted to know if I wanted to be informed of new ads, or new versions and I said yes. The above quote, was NOT a complaint by me, but a complaint about an assumption made by another post, by another person. I'm sure you understand, Right?
