LibreOffice, is it possible to change the way a stored file is displayed on the desktop ? A bit vague, but I'll get to the point. I 'm on version 5.3.7.2. Last time I updated to version 5.4.7 that did something I didn't like. On 5.3.7.2 any file I store on the desktop itself (not in a folder) is displayed in white. With what seems like the first page on the icon. Unreadable, of course. Only MS-Word files are displayed differently, in blue (? ) as a standard icon. When I put a file in Libreoffice format in a folder it is displayed the same way as MS-Word files. Anyway I can keep it that way im 5.4.7 ? I don't know if I make any sense, and I know it seems trivial.
I'm not sure how to enable it, but it's called file previews, that should help you in finding the answer.

Because of "and integrate a security patch", I expected a LibreOffice security advisory, "Addressed in LibreOffice 6.0.7/6.1.3", but two weeks later, there's still no such new security advisory. Has anyone seen anything in the release notes, or noticed any LibreOffice post, that explained what the security patch was?
No, but I do remember one time they were very late with publishing a new security advisory as well. Unfortunately, I don't remember specifics.
Hi Stupendous Man, Could the release notes perhaps tell more? https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.1 For example I see there in paragraph Online : Could that be what you're looking for?
Thanks, FanJ. But I think the 6.1 release notes are the same since 6.1.0. So the fixes in 6.1.3 are probably not specified in the 6.1 release notes. The fixes in 6.1.3 are specified in the notes for 6.1.3 RC1 and 6.1.3 RC2. Also, the blog said that not only 6.1.3 but also 6.0.7 integrated a security patch. The original 6.0 release notes mention noting about security. The fixes in 6.0.7 are specified in the notes for 6.0.7 RC1, 6.0.7 RC2 and 6.0.7 RC3. If 6.0.7 and 6.1.3 got the same security patch, comparing the notes for 6.0.7 and 6.1.3 to see what they have in common, may show the security patch -- but only if it is the same patch.
