I don't see this new skin on the download for Zone Alarm Free from the website. Where did you find it?

Nice, I have decided to try it out and Windows 10 failed to boot, first AV that ever managed to do that since, well as long as I can remember. I put Zone Alarm on a naughty list now. :D

LOL, it used to be a pretty good product, they should redesign the GUI and make it less bloated.

No issues whatsoever here on installing it on windows 10. From your signature you seem to have quite a 'custom' OS. This is likely the problem. ;)

Have you got any nag screen asking to buy zonealarm pro?
Has windows firewall been disabled? If so, do you get any warning from the security center?

gave it a go, free version has the cloud disabled.
was locking up my VM constantly. and the extreme edition's keylogger protection is trying to load an unsigned driver....
it's a shame this is the only product that's using Kaspersky's sigs....

Yes windows firewall is disabled (and windows 10 is normally rather strict not allowing two firewalls to run), windows security center report ZA as the firewall, no nag so far but given its a free product I would expect some nags. :)

it doesn't have nags, it just has critical features disabled and marked as "premium only" features.

I've just tried out ZoneAlarm Pro 154.062. The one thing I don't like is that is a web based installer. Had to disable OSArmor and VoodooShield temporarily to let it do it's setup, and that's not good. Had learnt the hard way never to disable protections at anytime for anything. And you had to do this while using an admin account. Is there an offline installer? I can't find one.

I would be surprised if you would not need to disable OSArmor and VoodooShield for installing any security tool which normally have low level interaction with the system.
What are you afraid of? You need to simply pause whatever you are doing on your system. Ensure your windows firewall is ON and the installation will not take more than 5 minutes.
I am not aware they offer an offline installer also because the installer need an active internet connection to properly configure the application.

Just contacted ZoneAlarm Support Chat. And they DO have OFFLINE INSTALLERS. Whoopee ! All you need to do is ASK.
