Just a quick reply: I just got the pop-up again. It's 01 September over here. I have not yet decided whether I will disable it.
Thanks Thankful. Just got it too via internal updater. Reboot required as usual. At the moment I don't see it mentioned at the Eset News site: https://support.eset.com/news/ But I see the changelog at the download site; go to the advanced download option: https://www.eset.com/int/home/internet-security/download/ Changelog Version 11.2.63.0 Fixed: Webcam is not detected by Webcam Protection on Windows 10 RS4 Fixed: Antitheft Protection crashes during attempt to disable Fixed: Issues with Wi-Fi connected to public access point Fixed: Debugger not functioning
It's there now too: https://support.eset.com/news7020/ And Marcos posted it at the Eset forum: https://forum.eset.com/topic/16762-eset-windows-home-products-version-112630-have-been-released/
Just installed Eset on my Laptop and am very pleased how light it seems to be on resources. But only time will tell if it remains this way.
Version 12 of ESET will hopefully be available soon and be even better, they've said it will be released in this quarter.
SUMo just told me that I have an update to V12.0.27.0 but the page it takes me to shows nothing about that. Just download Internet Security. Will just have to wait. .
Looks like SUMo jumped the gun... I monitor the ESET forum and also checked available updates and v12 has not yet been released.
I'd like to know how SUMo got that information. I am just curious. Well, the update offer is now gone from SUMo. Good.
Probably some users (beta testers or similar) shared this data when using SUMo. For ESET's GUI component there is currently this shown on SUMo's webpage:
You're welcome. If you use SUMo you can check for each program how many users use which version. Just right click on product - get update from - from SUMo page. </offtopic>
Looks like ESET version 12 is coming very soon, as their site now shows "EDITION 2019" on their product page. I think it's already available as a pre-release update option, but I'd rather wait for the official release through the normal update process...
