MiniTool ShadowMaker 2.0 - The Backup Software

I am running Minitool Shadowmaker Pro 2.0. I can't seem to get scheduled backup to run. I think it is because Malwarebytes is blocking a script when it tries to run - it blocks tracking.minitool.com. (Website). I have now added this to MB exclusions - should that take care of the problem? Also, why would MB block this in the first place? Any suggestions?

Update to post: Decided not to mess with it any longer. Reinstalled Aoemi Backupper in it's place. Thanks anyway

How long is the license valid for and can you update to major new releases?

Could you please verify, is this a one year licence of updates, or is it a one year licence then the software stops working.

Also, could you give some detail on the PXE feature, does this allow booting from a user chosen iso file.

Sorry for the missing info. It is a one year license of upgrade.

PXE is short for Preboot Execute Environment. MiniTool PXE Boot is designed to boot many computers from micro system in network. To put it simple, you can use MiniTool PXE Boot to make other client PCs boot from the same network. After booting, all client PCs are able to back up, restore or clone with tools offered in Windows PE micro system. In a word, MiniTool PXE Boot offers the best way to maintain multiple computers in LAN.

But It only allows to users to boot from the installed file.

Thank you for the explanation V3nuo, I was hoping that the PXE element could boot from user supplied iso's. Even so I have installed the pro version and it does seem a very capable product.. I will probably buy a couple of more licences and test it more thoroughly.

If you need bulk license, the developer can offer you discount, and if you'd like to do some test and want to post on somewhere else for improving, I believe that they can offer you test license for free. I'm testing MiniTool ShadowMaker 3.1, and it certainly gives you the option to backup the entire drive, which is always my preference.
I guess this must have been implemented since 2.0. I never tried it back then.

 

Can also boot via your Strelec WinPE UFD, if necessary?
