Did anybody also get SUMo flagged as incompatible software during install? I didn't allow uninstallation as I didn't find any reports about those two being incompatible and also didn't encounter any problems using them both at the same time.

No, not here, but I added SUMo to my list of exceptions, so that this program is not scanned/flagged by KIS.

Thnx. I got warning during KIS installation (before I could set any exceptions) and KIS installer offered to uninstall it. After I rejected this proposed uninstallation I got no more warnings from KIS about it.

I'll report this to Kaspersky.... this is a very unfair way to promote their competitor to SUMo by forcing people to unsinstall SUMo !
+ I propose you report it too :)

Has anyone observed a weird behaviour when using secure connection while making payments via PayPal?

Last night I bought something from one site that accepted PayPal as mode of payment. Obviously the moment I clicked on the link KIS 2019 gave me an option to choose between secure browser and non secure one.

I choose secure one, which made KIS open another pop-up of PayPal and I had to do the entire login and payment process again. And to my surprise the payment was not successful. After couple of failed tries, I had to move back to non-secure browser and made the payment. And it was done in one shot!

Strange, but I am guessing this might me due to stateless session, not 100% sure.

I had a similar problem a long time ago. According to Paypal it was paid and according to the shop it wasn't paid. Stopped using the secure browser after that.

You can have that also if you're on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. :)

Aahahha, i remember KAV 6 and the insanity of the squealing sounds as having no firewall in that XP of mine, worms would drop all kinds of files during the day.And i ve discovered what a firewall is due to that reason.I think i was using Outpost 4 or something like that along the KAV afterwards.
Using the free version here and it seems quite ok.

Curious notification I received this evening. PC is only a few months old, and I used Opera the other day.

Glad I'm not using Kaspersky - sounds like some problems exist.

Over the long haul I've had less issues with Kaspersky than most other products. I'd be using it now if I could have found a deal on it at the time of my last renewal.
