Got a 'disable your adblocker' message (I use MVPS hosts) so couldn't see the list. I can't imagine I use any of them myself.
I make use of WhatsApp and of course 4G. I also often visit Instagram sites. Google Chrome is the biggest crap ever created. And Airbnb should be banned.
The items themselves with no descriptions or context whatsoever: 1. The iPad 2. Google Chrome 3. Snapchat 4. Airbnb 5. Spotify 6. Oculus 7. Stripe 8. Instagram 9. Kickstarter 10. GPS on smartphones 11. Lyft 12. Pinterest 13. Square 14. 4G 15. Uber 16. Venmo 17. WhatsApp 18. Slack I missed 4G when I looked over the list the first time but it seems unrelated to everything else in this list anyway.
Little OT but it's hilarious to me how Browser Vendors especially are pushing back at the push backs they been getting from all those ad laden sites that now ID when certain add-ons snuff out and stop their crud. Never saw so many trackers in my life as nowadays. Back OT, as mentioned I use and like Pinterest but it's so crammed with not ads but images mostly and the way it's set up to load and show is so much different than in years past. It's not important but a good indicator for me either how better advanced they are becoming or not so much. GPS is a no brainer here since it's a part of finding all those new roads, fuel stops, etc. when traveling.
A portion of those are like those social media things. I don't even know some of them and I don't care to take the time and effort TO learn them. Crap like kickerstart is not a good thing either because it encourages rapid "thoughtless" product design. And it rewards the "developer" BEFORE they have a finished product. So no. The only revolutionary and life-changing and beneficial "product" is, you guessed it, GPS! The other stuff can be done away with. After the small cost of entry for a navigator device it's a free service.
