Without a doubt, this is the best software purchase that I have made in recent years. The absolute value that this provides per the money spent toward it; a true gem. The engineering that went into this software is phenomenal and beautifully designed on top of that. :thumb:

My only wish is that it didn't take me so long to find this software and really get into it. But now that I have taken the time to test it more, I love it.

I was lucky enough to be able to join @angstrom during his BETA test of v2 and was extremely impressed with the process as well as the BETA version itself. He now offers the final BETA free (sans Support, of course), which for most people is more than enough in its functionality. Since that time though, unbelievable features have been added to the product making it one of the best File Replicators I have ever used.

I probably can't live without it anymore...

...and based on the product FORUM participation, @angstrom is probably one of the most responsive developers I have ever seen... very quick with needed information as well as solutions.

@TheRollbackFrog Interestingly enough, I discovered his more recent tools (Diskovery, CCSIO Benchmark) first before I had found his Bvckup 2 program. I really appreciate how well engineered those two free programs are and the UI of his programs are so intuitive and minimalist which I enjoy very much.

Be careful though, WBD, I believe @angstrom is a Russian transplant to Switzerland... if you get to close, you may be subpoenaed by Mueller for testimony in his collusion probe :argh:

Canadian transplant, actually... but don't let that get in a way of a good joke.

    Very nice compliment, thanks!

I must've mentioned it here before, but I had massive doubts if this sort of approach would ever work for Windows programs, because... you know... the more buttons there are in a toolbar the better the program must be. But luckily it worked and there are people, like yourself, who appreciate focus and polish for what they are :)

What an excellent manner to make duplicate backup files in this automated fashion. Not done anything like this since way back when manually using WinZip on ole XP, even though I tested some pretty good other programs that was automated, but never caught on enough to make a schedule with them.

I like this one. Good job!

I just started running a portable version of Bvckup 78 Beta. As I understand, it it free and as long as I don't try to update, it will be ok to run it. Is this is true? If so, I really appreciate it. I am reasonable sure I will subscribe very soon based on what I am seeing so far on my pc. I really like Bvckup so far.

Would someone tell me what is on the current version that is not included in the 78 Beta version? That would probably help me make the change faster. Thanks!

John, I think you're referring to the v68 BETA (last release before production code).

It's hard to describe what's been added along the way... best way is to peruse THIS RELEASE INDEX for features released along the way.

...and if you don't find what you're looking for, feel free to JOIN the Forum and ask away... the Developer is very responsive.

PS- the Developer (@angstrom ) visits here quite often as well...
