I read the word millennials and I instantly zoned out. If there's a word that brings out Hulk rage in me, it's millennials.

I don't know anybody that woulh identify them self as millennial. Don't even have a mental image of "average millennial". When I read this word, I just think of them as "young" people...

millennium kids - born around the millennium. older teenagers or younger adults. 18+-
we call them also "digital natives" - grown up with lots of digital devices around, not like me as we went outside and had fun, in the woods, in the neighbourhood etc ^^

i am not sure if such feature has chance right now where other options are already present. eg paying per smart phone/nfc.
for pc i have paypal or in general master card/visa. i dont think there is need for mozillas feature.

Firefox will soon protect you from websites that mine cryptocurrency on your computer
Tracking protection, a standard part of Firefox, is getting several improvements in Firefox 63, due out in October.

Anyone else experiencing slowness with Firefox Quantum 60.0.1?
Is there a way to revert back to older versions?

No slowdowns. You could for example download Firefox 60.0.

I prefer to do updates manually, when FF is not sandboxed. I guess I will have to create policy rules or let SRP block update process.

I will never let Firefox update automatically. And while I'm there I will delete Mozilla's system extensions and heavily modify my user.js file.

I've checked out FF 62 and it's still crap, almost no customization options. So the only hope is that certain extensions will make a come back. But the Mozilla team really messed it up, shame on them. :thumbd:

If they will completely scrap this feature then I will stop using Firefox, very dumb move from Mozilla. It seems the only thing they are good at is annoying people.

Unfortunately for this feature every tab needs at least one separate OS-level process.
They are working in parallel to cut every process RAM usage in order to minimize total RAM usage, but working with a lot of tabs will require similar amount of RAM as Chrome needs.
But site-isolation is a must in post-Spectre world.
If you don't like that - say that to CPU vendors, especially Intel.

Yes, I also prefer 2nd option. Though I doubt that those are the final options, they will probably make some additional changes.
