I am still afraid to using AdwCleaner now .....
my system had be destroy by AdwCleaner about 2 weeks ago ,
no idea it will happen again or not .....

on the other hand you should set an exclusion in settings > exclusions [Element] [Registry Key] for this tree.

Yes , indeed even Google , can't found any information for that registry key ....
I am already stop using AdwCleaner right now , because i do not hope my system be destroy again ,
unless AdwCleaner team find out what happen between AdwCleaner and my system .

But i think Malwarebytes( AdwCleaner team) already know my situation ,
but if i still didn't get any reply from msherwood , i think i will consider to post my issue on official forum when i get free time .

Some of time , AdwCleaner still can find something that Malwarebytes can't find ,
are they using different database ?

As i know , Malwarebytes already acquires AdwCleaner ,
so why Malwarebytes doesn't merging Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner them together ?

I have been told before we will be in touch about AdwCleaner destroy my system's issue ,
but i still didn't receive any reply from you or Malwarebytes , i guess you may be too busy and forgot it .
Should i visit Malwarebytes official website and create a support ticket for it ?

Before understand and make sure what is going on , why AdwCleaner will destroy my system before ,
i have no idea should i keep trust AdwCleaner or not .

 

I do hope they will keep MBAM and AdwCleaner separate.

 

I'm using AdwCleaner daily, on customers machines, so do my colleges.
It must be several hundred cleaning actions, without ever destroying anything, that wasn't already kaputt.

I'm very happy with AdwCleaner and hope it will be available as it is.

 

However i hope at least they can merging Malwareytes and AdwCleaner's database .
than i have no need to install them both .

Because i already had install Malwarebytes , if AdwCleaner believe it's a threats ,
why Mawlarebytes doesn't add into their database ?

I had be using AdwCleaner for many years , never make me disappointed ,
and i am not just using on my personal PC , but also on my friends .

Before AdwCleaner destroy my system , i trust them ,
but not so sure for now .

And until now they still didn't give me any answer ....

When i disabled all protection in SpywareBlaster, the AdwCleaner scan was clean.

 

Suggest you contact Malwarebytes official ,
the can help you to confirm it's false positive or not .

 

Ah it looks like you've made the link to SpywareBlaster too! I saw your post just as I was running my own scan last night, and my scan came up with the same detections.
