I am betting the majority of encryption users are solid citizens of their countries. I use encryption exclusively, and as far as I know there is no LE looking for me or for what I have done. I just want to be private and left alone, and yes I know its a dream but its my dream! Encryption, tunneling internet networks, etc.... is the only way to even hope to have that.

USA still the best. But barely.
I disagree that encryption has become the default. It's still very much in the minority.

I do take a modicum of privacy measures but nowhere as near as the experts here on Wilders.

An FYI that's not mentioned much is if you have nothing to hide like me. But take extraordinary measures for privacy unlike me. IF the 3letters ever get a notice of you, your life could become complicated quickly.

Well the hope is that "they" could only notice one of my monikers, which are many steps from my real name. If they took the time to employ an NSA level tracking that time would prove to lead only to some little guy that just wants to be left alone. Then they would be angry that they wasted time they could have used to go after a trail that might lead to a real payoff.
