These policies are specifically for Windows 10, not 7 and perhaps not even for 8/8.1 although i'm not entirely sure for that. moreover since there's not an option on this thing we can safely assume that you can't disable the telemetry data you send to Adjust and Clicktale for example (latest added analytics providers )

In any case it's not a tool i'd recommend to people who respect their online privacy.

I understand your point and I respect it :)
But if you are really concerned about online privacy, the only way is to use only open-source OS and apps and avoid any social network.

I personally use Windows 10, I use O&O ShutUp 10 to change most privacy-wise settings, but I keep using some features, such as Windows Update or Windows SmartScreen

i believe it does. It doesn't work on Chromium, with Linux, but it works on my W7 when testing it on that link that you posted.

For those not running an AV you should pair this with the Malwarebytes for Chrome extension. Along with GSB you are pretty well protected. Even more so if using uBO. With Chromes inherent sandbox and if using any exploit guards it's hard to imagine anything breaking through.

I don't use Yahoo but you could see if disabling the advertising/tracker component helps.

With Adguard enabled, the WD extension doesn't block anything there.
With Adguard disabled, the WD extension blocks the malware and phishing link.

Could @avatar or anyone else please confirm if they have the same issue? Thanks.

I'm using Avira Browser Safety, which is powered by Adguard. If the Avira extension is enabled, the WD extension doesn't block anything on the test site. However if I configure the extension to not block the test site, WD then blocks the site as normal.

I have unchecked all 5 things before and i can't use yahoo mail. Just having the ext enabled stops me from getting to my email, even if everything is unchecked.

After the 5/2 update i can now view yahoo mail again. The update was for mbam chrome extension beta on 5/2, not for WD extension for chrome.

Can't reproduce it anymore. Could it be that it's fixed already?

    I think so :thumb:
With or without the AdGuard extension only the Phishing Page, Malware Page and Blocked Download (the ones in red) are blocked.

To clarify I'm using Adguard for Windows. Did you tried to reproduce the issue with it?

    Now probably no longer necessary:
