AV-Test.org: February 2018 test results (Windows 7) https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-7/february-2018/
Would not be surprised if Eset has dropped out of AV-Test testing. They have been getting "bombed" on recent performance scores. As anyone knows that uses Eset, it is one of the "lightest" AV's out there.
Not unless you want to try the buggiest AV in the world, super slow virus signature updates, the first update takes 30 mins last time I tried it. buggy interface and just buggy in general speaking of AV-Test and why I don't trust their tests, look at the performance metric for all AVs. they are all excellent! Really? What kind of Voodoo magic is this?
Wow, Comodo. Been using just their firewall for a month or two, and it is so much better than it was a few years back. I think they finally figured out how to do whitelisting.
Just a sidenote, quite many users know that lightness. Maybe somebody is interested about the protection.
It depends on what you are doing. Where the performance is good in general, it definitely slows the opening of network folders. Sometimes even local folders. And though I give them credit for one of the better web scanners, it is also one of the slowest. It's a good product, but could be better where performance is concerned.
