    I get a warning from Norton with every new release so I'm in the habit of disabling Auto-Protect until PrivaZer is updated. I had Windows Defender running on one machine when I updated this time and there was no warning from WD.

    This is the first time I've seen Kaspersky alert on a PrivaZer update. I also had Windows Defender running, an oversight, and it alerted as well.

    Hello guys,

    False alert.
    We contacted Kaspersky few days ago.
    The problem is solved for PrivaZer v3.0.40 and the alert was removed for Kaspersky.
    You just need to update your virus database.

    Concerning Windows Defender and Smartscreen, the issue should be fixed also.

    The false alerts were caused by the update of our digital signature (old signature expired on January) to sign our exe files.

    Keep us posted.

    For Kaspersky users,

    due to the false alert, the privazer.exe file may stay listed under the untrusted section of Kaspersky
    preventing PrivaZer from starting.

    Simply open Kaspersky, click on "Applications control" and remove privazer.exe from that section.

    Keep up the good work (and fixes) @The_PrivaZer_Team

    Not even a good solid Defrag speeds up these PC's the way this program does.

    Definitely sweeps the static right off the system and advances production!

    Hello to @all,

    new version of PrivaZer coming later today :)

    @EASTER,
    thanks Easter for your precious + constant support.

    @Krusty,
    it is not possible.
    There is no other way than using taskkill to kill a process by PID.

    @The_PrivaZer_Team- Well some of us who still run mechanical spinning wheel disk drives strive for maximum performance and this app drills down and efficiently clears the way to better make room for the drive arms not to have to stumble over old written data on the platter so much. I call it chatter-clutter what have you, but when the disk controller has to stop the arm to read clumps of insufficient deleted data (but not fully removed) from the surface, it's only natural that time (speed) is reduced and the machine isn't working at top velocity with all those stop signs-red lights.

    PrivaZer safely and entirely opens up the way for a computer to pick up speed=productive performance. Simple law of physics and your team is done well in applying the best algorithm for disk drive user's especially.

    Just another simple note of thanks on this end again, that's all. Great program-great team.

    I've been using it for a little over a year now (pro version) along with CCleaner Pro and find it does a very thorough job.
    I actually like it better.

    Thanks but I need to re-address this issue. Seems that Privazer will only remember this setting for the system drive. Any extra internal or external drives need to have this unchecked each time.

    THANK YOU !!!

    @camelia,
    This error is caused when 1 instance of PrivaZer is trying to communicate with another one already running
    and the communication is failing.
    In most cases a PC reboot will solve the issue.

    @jopa66,
    Will do in next release.

    @liba,
    on our roadmap.
    I will try to work on it for the next release.

    There's actually no other program that can speed up any of my PC's like PrivaZer.

    It's typical windows crap that gums up by logging a hundred million things and letting them pile up until a PC loses steam.

    Regular routine use of this excellent program PrivaZer sweeps all that clutter out. It's never been so much a privacy issue for me as it's been windows dumping tons of recorded usage all over the place until it weighs the performance down. Now throw in just one single session of internet surfing and your HDD is gummed to pieces and slows.

    Not any more! Enter PrivaZer! :)

    @EASTER

    What you wrote is the kind of stuff I would expect a company would put on their website in the section of ‘Read what our users have to say about X” Lol.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if Privazer decided to do that with your post.

    I have had years of severe strain with the way the windows developers always determine to trace this/track that and frankly im A-OK with that but the more they keep adding new ones, and bunches more so much so often that with all the loggings in so many different areas of the system (and there are many) they add up/accummulate to the point where the best of CPU's etc get soon bogged down tripping over all of that and as sensitive as I am to performance it doesn't take much before I have to halt everything just to run a cleaner and do a defrag etc. to bring the system performance back to snap readiness again until next time.

    I think that's why there's been windows customizers for years who gone through so much trouble to devise programs to strip and reduce windows default systems into an attempt to make it a more snappier and responsive PC system.

    You're more than welcome.
    You've got an excellent product that's worth every penny and is maturing nicely.
    Are you ever going to do an Android version?
    Maybe a quick/full cleanup version?
    I'd love to see that.

    I submitted a comment on this from the website but needed to add additional information. PrivaZer shows that it cleans Veracrypt traces but it leaves behind fingerprints for previously mounted drives. In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices. The following is an example that was present after a full Privazer run with all options enabled (on Windows 7):

    \??\Volume{bdd33e78-14be-11e8-ba1d-bc5ff4acc340}

    And the following Value:

    56 65 72 61 43 72 79 70 VeraCryp
    74 56 6F 6C 75 6D 65 4E tVolumeH

    Are you able to clear keys referencing VeraCrypt volumes that are no longer mounted? I know for a fact forensic software is flagging these.

    This is the gummed in stuff that can affect mechanical HDD's that PrivaZer handles extremely well.

    @The Radius Kid,
    we are working on an android version but you have to have in mind that every app and the system itself (loaded with Google crapwares) are spywares...
