Mozilla Firefox ESR portable edition is detected and listed as the normal ESR. The portable versions for the current Firefox releases are detected separately from the normal releases.

i.e. Mozilla Firefox Portable Edition/Portable Apps.com vs. Firefox/Mozilla Foundation

This is not the case for the portable Firefox ESR which has not yet been released. BTW, the normal ESR is being shown as an update (current 7 vs. user 31), but has not officially been released and is currently only available for download from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/

 

May i have a screenshot for this problem in SUMo ?

Sumo is the only software that can be safely used with windows XP.
It does not require any NET Frameworks.

It is insecure to keep the NET Frameworks installed with Windows XP.

Where do you download the "portable firefox ESR" from ?

 

SUMo is reporting Alpha builds of 1Password (v7) as an update...

It can be seen in the field "Company" (="PortableApps.com")
So it was high likely downloaded from there: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox-portable-esr

I have tried it too and it looks like this (it is the portable ESR version of Firefox but SUMo is showing an available update [58.0.2.0] but 58.x is the regular version of Firefox)

All exe files found in the subdirs of the main dir where FirefoxPortable.exe resides
should be treated as belonging to that portable app and not to the normal firefox
which may have higher version files (firefox.exe updater.exe etc.) than the portable ones.
