Taking an inordinate amount of time to install... and still not finished.

AVG was working well a year ago and now they have to fix dozen of bugs every few days, could you please bring back old AVG? I will never touch this bloated and ugly AVGAST any more. :thumbd:

Compared to good old AVG it's performance is poor, GUI is ugly and full of ads, CyberCapture is going crazy sometimes and deletes anything but malware, idiotic errors (GUI can't be loaded - please reinstall, AVG IS reverted to AVG free after 2 weeks for unknown reason - licence was valid for 1 year) and so on.

I don't want to pay for a product and then waste my time, developer should do this work for their customer. Sorry Avast but I will never ever touch this AVG crap again. Stop AVGAST or sell it to a company which is able to improve it instead of destroying it.

I've tried a bunch of different free solutions lately and AVG so far is performing well and actually seems to work with exclusions, etc. where others (including Avast) did not. Not sure I agree AVG is bad. Better for me so far than Avast, Sophos, Avira, Panda and Bitdefender for easy use, configuration and low impact.

AVG production version 18.1.3044 was officially released two days ago, 2/12/2018. Now, it ought to be interesting to see when Avast updates the offline installers to 3044. The last time AVG was updated, it took two weeks for the offline installers to become available for download.

Does AVG now have hardened mode similar to Avast? I've seen pics where it is shown, but I have it installed and do not see the option for it anywhere.
