I see the exact same thing here on that site, except for the Best Buy banner.

If you want to get rid of these 2 rows, you can use this filter (uBlockO - Dashboard - My Filters):
    Code:
    www.neowin.net###promos
Btw.: It was also have mentioned last year in a different thread:

How to block access to your local resources and your router for all internet sites in uBlock Origin and uMatrix (like in ABE available in Noscript legacy) - see this post.

Thanks that's definitely helpful. I will review and add to my uBO accordingly.

It looks like the openphish list isn't updating anymore.

    https://openphish.com/feed.txt

Edit: Possibly because I'm using Norton ConnectSafe which blocks their site for some reason.

    Confirmed!

Using my ISP's DNS this list updates without any problems.

After submitting openphish.com as a false positive to Symantec Norton ConnectSafe no longer blocks the openphish list from updating.

    Edited thanks to @paulderdash .

Noticed when I updated uBO extension the Icon doesn't show.
No (Blank) Show Dashboard or Show Logger.
Extension is showing in browser Add-ons.
If I remove Sandboxie setting (ClosedFilePath)
for %Local Settings%\Temp\ then uBO works correctly.
Worked before with version 1.14.18 and sandboxie setting.

%temp% and ClosedFilePath makers no fortune - firefox is using %temp% now for a long time. anyhow using ClosedFilePath for a boxed program makes no sense either and in special for %temp%

No problem here with uBO 1.15.0 and Sandboxie 5.23.3 (64 bit) beta.
Only Sandboxie setting is Resource Access>File Access>Direct Access to %Appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxx.xxx\browser-extension-data\uBlock0@raymondhill.net\storage.js

Setting Sandboxie Direct Access for uBO won't work because (ClosedFilePath) takes preedence over
    Direct Access setting.
I use this Sandboxie setting for security precautions and only is removed when updating extensions
    or downloading files.

I think it is. In fact I'm going to use the list which contains all browser mining domains - A list to prevent browser mining only:
    Code:
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ZeroDot1/CoinBlockerLists/master/list_browser.txt
Here that list has 1,003 used out of 1,017 domains.

This list has 3,265 used out of 3,329.

    @hayc59,

if you want good all round blocking without complicating matters for yourself, try setting up Blocking mode: medium mode and follow exactly the steps from in the guide. If you experience site breakage, you can easily fall back to lesser block modes by first setting a local noop rule on 3rd-party scripts, and if that doesn't resolve the breakage, you can even go further by doing the same on 3rd-party iframes, exactly how it's shown. I would also enable only the 3rd-party filter lists recommended, and don't add any others.

Without understanding how cryptomining works in the first place :isay:, is it preferable to use browser list only, or the full list (for administrators to prevent mining in networks)?
